I have been dying to see a pine siskin and would love to see a flock of them. <BR/><BR/>The first picture of the house finch confirms to me that what I do have at my bird feeder is in fact a house finch and not a purple finch like I was hoping (for some reason this little guy I have at my feeder spends most of his time at my saflower feeder and ignores the nyjer). That has allowed me to take a good look at him and he looks a lot like the bird in your pic.<BR/><BR/>I love the pictures of the sparrow. I admire all of you birders that can tell them apart. There are so many of them that I get confused, even with a field guide.
